NME Double page spread.
Like a conventional double page spread, it contains quotes from individuals who are usually famous. In this particular double page spread it contains the famous band, 'My Chemical Romance' as many people can identify with them and know them. This also intrigues the readers more as they want to read more about them.
Also what is conventional about this double page spread is the text being grouped together instead of being spread out. This allows the illustrations to stand out and also lets the large words such as 'The best MCR' be ever more emphasized.
It also uses a Puff on the double page spread which in many double page spreads doesn't really happen. It makes it seem more interesting and more daring as the reader would feel they know more than other 'fans'.
Unlike many double page spreads, this one doesn't contain a lot of information, perhaps to reflect the rock star look, in that they are laid back more. The lack of information also lets you focus more on the images.
The main image to left hand side of the page is large and stands out maybe insinuating that the main focus of the double page spread is based around this.
