NME Contents
Firstly to comment on, this contents page conventionally shows the pages of specific stories, making it easier for the readers to find to find what they want to read more efficiently. However, the font is varied on this page which somehow breaks the house style. Perhaps this suggests variety in the contents as the contents advertises different stories.
Also conventional of most contents pages, there is a image to make it seem more interesting as it would be bland and dull if it lacked illustrations. It is also a picture of a famous band which allows the readers to identify with the magazine.
Also, it has a little story at the start to entice the readers into continue reading the magazine. If there wasn't any information at the beginning then first time readers would know what is what.
The title 'NME this week' links in with the Main Masthead. It is the same as many of the mastheads given to the 'NME' magazines and it allows the contents page and front cover page to be linked together.
