Kerrang Contents Page.

Firstly to comment on this contents page, specific words are made bold to stand out more to the reader. Furthermore, the sub headings are yellow and given a background of black which is really effective as the can be seen more clearly than other texts. I may use this on my contents page as it really appeals to my magazine.

Conventionally about this magazine, it uses bands and doesn't always mention their names to suggest that the reader should be able to identify them as if they are regular readers of the magazine. It is also conventional that the images are large and outstanding otherwise, they would have no effect on the readers.

There are vast amounts f text on this differently from many other contents pages. This is effective as includes all the stories that are in the magazine and would make the readers want to read on because they can see all that is in the magazine. Magazines that don't do this however, aren't as good as readers may not want to spend time looking for a specific story.

The Pug, 'WIN, Biffy Clyro guitar', is really effective as it entices the readers to read the magazine as they can win a famous persons guitar and be able to relate to that person. I think is really key as it makes people want to continue reading.
