Q Contents Page.

Conventionally about this contents page, the contents page links in with the front cover. It says 'on the cover' which shows that the contents has continued with the front cover stories. Thins is very effective as it makes the magazine seem like it is all joined together in one way or another. Unlike all the magazines, I am definitely going to include this in my magazine as it is really effective.

I also think the main image is really effective as it firstly focuses on a well known band, secondly because it shows they are linked with the magazine and lastly because it contains quotes from other people not just the makers of the magazine which makes people believe the magazine is of a real high standard.

It is also a very effective contents page as it has the name of the magazine at the tope of the page. It is really good as it stands out and it hasn't been used in the previous magazines. It is also really central increasing how much it stands out.

I also like the way it changes the contrast of the images. This may be reflective of a mood, time period or situation that is going on within the image. However, for my magazine I shall not use this as it is to hard to mess with.

It also puts the page numbers to make it easier for readers to find exactly what they want. It also puts the sub headings in bold capitals to make it stand out.
