For my magazine 'hyPe' I had to do research to see how my magazine would be designed. My magazine hadn't been based around one magazine however this magazine 'DJ' was the my main focus as it related more the target I audience I aimed for. I liked this magazine as it contrasted between black and white or positive and negative. I also like the way the Masthead and the main subheadings stand out more by using a brighter colour.
I wanted my magazine cover to look kind of 'grimey' and like the streets as it would appeal more to my target audience which is for younger adults.
